Take a base panel build estimate and layer on the real, quantifiable labor each industry adds — corrosion enclosures, hazardous-area wiring, validation paperwork, redundancy, witnessed testing, and telemetry.

How it works. Each factor is a labor multiplier applied to your base build hours; the effective multiplier is their product. Size the base from your own hours or from I/O · termination points (~15–30 min each — wire + terminate). Most factors add labor; a repeat / production run drops below 1.0 for the learning curve, so a build can come in under base. Defaults are typical values — tune them to your shop's actuals. Sell price adds materials on top of labor: the component cost (auto-filled from your layout's priced parts) is taken to your cost with the distributor-discount %, then marked up for resale, and added to labor cost.
